Duchess

Duchess is the facility dog for Sensory Solutions and she came to us in 2019! She is a fully trained Service Dog through New Horizons Service Dogs. Ms. Ashton was Duchess’s puppy raiser and did extensive training with Duchess for the first year of her life. Ms. Ashton taught her all of the commands and good manners that she has today. Duchess spent two and a half years of training before she was placed at Sensory Solutions. Duchess even got to meet an Indy Car driver during her time in training! Duchess has made such a positive difference at Sensory Solutions. The staff and children adore her!! She has a very calm and sweet personality. You can often find Duchess laying on a big pillow in one of the gyms with a pretend snowball in her mouth! She helps to calm the children, helps with transitions and makes Sensory Solutions an even happier place! Duchess is such a blessing and she lives with Ms. Kristen. We love Duchess so much!
