Ashton was first introduced to the Sensory Solutions family when the first puppy she ever raised, Duchess, was placed at the clinic as a facility dog! Ashton started puppy raising as a freshman in high school and has had the incredible opportunity to train 12 service dogs since then. She is currently training future service dogs for Topaz Assistance Dogs and works for the organization as an area coordinator, assisting in client/volunteer training and placement. Ashton is extremely passionate about service dog education and enjoys training her puppies at the Orlando theme parks in her free time. After moving from Ohio to Florida in middle school, Ashton loves spending time at the beach, Disney and Universal, and on the lakes of Orlando where her family lives! Ashton is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and plans on getting her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy afterwards. She is forever grateful that Sensory Solutions introduced her to the world of OT in a hands-on way and now has her heart set on working in Pediatrics during her future career as a therapist. Ashton adores the upbeat, loving environment at the clinic and enjoys interacting with all the kiddos and their parents everyday!
