Jaclyn Zarling is a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida, Masters of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of South Florida and a Graduate Certificate Degree in Autism from Penn State University. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech Language Association (ASHA). She has worked as an SLP for the past 15 years in a variety of settings including John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital outpatient clinic and both the public and private school setting. She served as the SLP for a Pre-School Diagnostics team and is delighted to be the founding therapist for speech/language services at Sensory Solutions. Her many interests include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Auditory Processing Disorder, Early Intervention, Feeding Difficulties, Reading/Dyslexia, Learning Differences, Tethered Oral Tissues/Tongue and Lip Ties, and Auditory-Based therapy for Hard of Hearing and Cochlear Implant. Jaclyn’s most favorite role is mommy to her two girls, Joy and Grace, born just 16 months apart. She can say with great certainty that being a mom has made her a better therapist! She enjoys getting to know the families with whom she works to ensure a comprehensive therapy plan. On most days, she can be found driving her girls to and from school and appointments, singing songs and playing princess dress up.
